Support Your Local Indie Bookstore
Ouray Bookshop has apparently moved since I was there last, but they’re still around in a new location. I have great memories of browsing the shelves.
Sometimes, you just want to support your local bookstore. You may also want convenience.
It’s been a pleasure for me to discover that you can order books from your friendly local indie establishment—and that many of them carry The Madres Deal online.
To find out if this is an option for you and your favorite independent bookstore, go to their website and look for their online offerings. Shipping may be handled a bit differently than you’re used to, but you can also choose to pick the order up in the store and soak in those cozy bookstore vibes while you’re there.
So thank you, regional indie bookstores! Here’s a shout-out to some personal favorites (and the happy vacation moments they carry with them).
The list below is not complete, and it reflects online availability. Many stores encourage you to call in to see if they have a specific title on the shelves.
